With this modification, the engine looks 100% cosmetically stock. The boat will start and idle as well as a stocker and have the same sound level of a stocker. Besides the 6 mph increase in peak speed, overall acceleration is greatly increased.

In our testing with the Sleeper modified 750, these bolt on parts gave the "most bang for the buck". The flame arrestor and waterbox each make a noticeable increase in peak rpm and acceleration. The ride plate and scoop grate both offered increased peak water speeds. (note: The DG waterbox does slightly increase the sound level) (Ride plate and flame arrestor are available from authorized Polaris dealers)

The increased torque of the level 2 engine is able to pull this slightly steeper pitched prop. The result is slightly higher speeds along with much lower engine rpms. Despite the lower rpm range, the strong acceleration is not compromised.

While the increase in speed is not a lot, the increase in acceleration is substantial. This would be the best arrangement for local level closed course and off shore racers. (still only 145 psi compression) This arrangement can be run on 100+ av gas, or a 50/50 mix of 92 oct pump/110 octane race.
