Kawasaki "Sleeper" and "Hammer" Engine Kits by Aqua Sports
Group K is proud to announce that effective July 1 1997, we will be referring all of our pre 1998 Kawasaki "Sleeper" and "Hammer" kit customers to Aqua Sports of Torrance California.
Group K has trained and licensed Aqua Sports (and their technicians) to make all the "Sleeper" and "Hammer" kit modifications for all the pre 1998 Kawasaki models.
The technicians of Aqua Sports have been involved with the testing and development of all of our Kawasaki kits since 1990. Aqua Sports owner, Johnny "Custom"* Norsworthy (and his staff), have regularly raced Sleeper and Hammer equipped Kawasakis in IJSBA closed course and endurance events during this time.
(*John got the nickname years ago when he used to blend specialty paints for automobiles. We just call him Johnny Custom)
Aqua Sports is a franchised Kawasaki "Ichiban" designated dealer (that means they sold alot of jet skis). During the last few model years we, at Group K, have found ourselves hard pressed to match Aqua Sport's ability to gather "on water" testing and tuning data for the Kawasaki pwcs. In addition to this, Aqua Sports technicians have established themselves as the premiere authority on Kiehin carb tuning and calibration. Aqua Sports is the only shop (we know of) that has been retained by Kiehin America to conduct tuning and calibration testing on their behalf.
We consider the Aqua Sports technicians to be uniquely qualified to make all the Kawasaki "Sleeper" and "Hammer" kit modifications. We also admire their ability to relate to the riding and tuning issues that high performance Kawasaki pwc owners encounter.
We have the greatest confidence in the Aqua Sports technicians, and their ability to meet the needs of discriminating high performance Kawasaki pwc owners. For customers who have purchased their Kawasaki engine kits from Group K ... we intend to continue to offer our technical consultation. Group K will contine to develop modifications for the 1998 open class watercrafts. However, for pre 1998 Kawasaki pwc owners that are looking for a performance authority for future modifications ... we urge you to contact the technicians of Aqua Sports.
